Patient fees in the region will increase by one hundred kronor next year. This was one of the announcements made by the region when they presented the budget and regional plan for 2024 on Monday. However, the regional budget also shows a continuing deficit of almost half a billion kronor.
The fee for physical visits will increase from 200 to 300 kronor and digital visits from 100 to 200 kronor. The tax on dental care will also increase by 12 percent. However, the high-cost protection in health care will remain at the same level as before. These measures are expected to add just over 30 million kronor to the regional budget.
