Heimstaden had big plans for the Anderstorp Strand area, and a detailed plan was drawn up for a large residential area.
But nothing happened, and now Skebo, Skellefteå municipality's property company, has decided to buy back the land. The deal was announced on Tuesday.
This means that Skebo will now be able to build about 250 apartments. The plan is to start construction as early as spring, and then the apartments could be ready by 2026.
The land is located next to the Anderstorp Health Center. The purchase also includes some old houses, which will remain unchanged.
