An upcoming food market in the city center will feature more than 20 local exhibitors serving food and beverages at the Sara kulturhus building. Mandel's food market is set to take place at The Wood Hotel on September 2. The plan is for it to be annual event during the harvest season every September.
– This is a great way to showcase the treasure of locally produced food and beverages to everyone in Skellefteå, says Jonathan Åhström, project manager for Mandel's food market, in a press release.
The event will offer tastings and the opportunity to purchase food and drinks from small and medium-sized producers.
- As we continuously work to develop and refine our menu from local suppliers, we see this as an excellent opportunity for them to showcase their pantry to the public, says Jenny Andersson, head chef at Restaurant Mandel.
