Sara at the festival – quiz, open stage and books

This year, both culture and sport has been given more space at the Summertime festival. Sara kulturhus will temporarily move to the festival area with Unga Sara, Open Stage, Läsligan and the Children’s Book Bus.

Unga Sara can be found at the Summertime festival area this weekend together with several of the cultural centre's activities for children and young people.

Since March, Unga Sara has been a platform with cultural events for young people in school years 7-9. The Open Stage programme is also new and aims to encourage more people to step onto various public stages and reach further levels in their creativity.

In Sara’s tent at Summertime, all the different activities of the cultural centre will be under the same canvas roof. On the little stage ”Sara’s corner” the floor is open to anyone who wants to read a poem, sing, play or perform stand-up comedy.

– You’re also welcome to come here and just chill out, says Olov Häggmark, culture educator at Unga Sara.
