Old and new MMA fans filled Sara kulturhus

There were many devoted fight fans, as well as some curious newcomers who wanted to experience the MMA gala at Sara kulturhus in Skellefteå.

Norran spoke with Laila Back, who traveled from Gävle to Skellefteå to cheer on her daughter Nina in the match against Samin Kamal Beik.

– It's always difficult watching your child compete, Laila admitted.

– It's a mother's instinct to worry about them getting hurt. But I hope Nina fights back even harder. I'm here to support her and encourage her to win, she said.

– It’s a bit scary, she says, laughing.

Laila has traveled the world watching Nina fight, but this is her first visit to Skellefteå.

– It’s a lovely and nice city, and everything is well organized here at the kulturhus, she says.
