Since Northvolt’s bankruptcy in March, bankruptcy trustee Mikael Kubu has been working to find potential buyers.
He told Ekot that there are two or three seriously interested parties with the capacity to handle a deal of this magnitude.
He declined to specify who the interested parties are but confirmed they are international companies.

The newspaper also states that production in Skellefteå has been maintained, but according to Mikael Kubu, this is only possible due to customers paying a premium for the batteries, an arrangement that is expected to last until the end of May.
