An operator at SOS Alarm said there was a fire alarm at Northvolt that was resolved by staff at the scene.
– It seems that the alarm was triggered by steam.
The fire department initially sent a large number of units, but they turned back.
An ambulance was also initially alerted, but turned back before arriving.
Sanna Bäckström, press communicator at Northvolt, writes in an e-mail to Norran that:
"Our staff has investigated the fire alarm together with the fire department, and it appears that the alarm was triggered by water vapor from a water leak. The evacuation of the building went well, and no injuries were reported."
