– MDU offering education across multiple areas, for both young students and working professionals, is an important part of the societal transformation that Skellefteå is currently undergoing, says Ida Lindh, R&D strategist at Skellefteå municipality.

The new Industrial Development programme focuses on the entire production chain and how to meet future industrial challenges. It is designed to provide students with practical and theoretical knowledge through close collaboration with local companies, with the aim of ensuring the education is well-adapted to the region's specific needs.

Cecilia Bjursell is vice chancellor at MDU. "We are very pleased to be able to contribute to the skills supply in Skellefteå with our research-based education programs. We also look forward to collaborating with other institutions at Campus Skellefteå, where together we can contribute to the green transition and the region's long-term development," she writes in a press release.
