Aventours sees a growing market in Skellefteå, according to a recent press release. This Nordic leader in regional airport departures to the Mediterranean has chosen Skellefteå as one of its first Swedish hubs.

"We're delighted to welcome Aventours to Skellefteå," said Skellefteå Airport CEO Robert Lindberg in a press release. "Their decision to include us is fantastic news for our residents."

The new service kicks off this autumn, with the first sunshine-seeking flight departing for Cyprus on October 19. Shortly thereafter, on October 27, the inaugural flight to Rhodes takes off. This partnership offers Skellefteå residents more convenient travel options and eliminates layovers for those seeking a Mediterranean escape.
