Mindre Modiga Män became well-known creators of melodious pop where the singer Magnus Löfstedt’s clever lyrics in Swedish became a calling card. Their golden years were in the early 1990s when their songs were frequently played on the radio. The band broke up in 1997 but reformed several times in the noughties and tens and are now very much active again. After Magnus Löfstedt’s passing the lead vocals have been helmed by Nicklas Bränberg.
This evening’s event, Musik vid Bryggarbacken, is the second of four this summer and also offers a support act: the alt-rock/metal band Manistar. The group which is based in Skellefteå released the single "Sheep N' Wolf" the other day and can also be seen at Trästockfestivalen where the band will perform on July 22.
