Dylan needs little introduction. Emerging as a key figure in the 1960s folk revival, Dylan often addressed social and political issues. Known for hits such as "Blowin' in the Wind" and "Like a Rolling Stone," he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016 for his poetic contributions to music.
Now local musicians in Skellefteå will interpret a number of his songs at Sara Kulturhus.
– There will be a mix of both well-known and lesser-known songs during the evening, says Erik Johansson, former member of the Skelleftehamn band Måns Mossa and one of the participating musicians.
Olav Markstedt will also take part. Olav has interpreted Dylan in Skelleftea's production of "A Tribute to The Last Waltz".
Skellefteå's interesting rising star Mika Johansdotter will also participate. She interpreted Allan Edwall at the Sävenäs Festival in Kurjoviken. Her soft and straight interpretation of Edwall's "Kom" was touching.
