Cement truck accident on Anderstorpsleden

According to SOS Alarm, who received the alert just before 9:00 AM on Monday morning, it's a single-vehicle accident involving a truck. The accident occurred on Bockholmsvägen.

The Swedish Transport Administration reports that the accident has a significant impact on traffic. The preliminary end time for the traffic disruption is estimated to be 10:30 AM.

The SOS Alarm operator states that traffic is being allowed through.

–Then the rescue service will hand over the matter to the haulage company. The ambulance is also on-site but they are still assessing the medical needs, so no one has been taken to hospital yet, says the SOS operator.

The traffic situation has now eased, and the ambulance has left the scene. The incident involves a cement mixer that has run off the road.

–We have checked for leakage and cleaned the roadway, says rescue leader Henrik Lindgren.

The fire service has hosed water into the mixer to prevent the cement from hardening. If the cement manages to harden, it may need to be chiseled off. Per Helmersson, police officer at the scene, reports that the driver is in stable condition.

The truck driver has been taken by ambulance to Skellefteå Hospital, according to SOS Alarm. The extent of the injuries is unclear, but according to the police, the person is bruised but not seriously injured.

The rescue service has left the scene. The traffic is no longer affected by the incident, reports the Swedish Transport Administration.
