Skellefteå's new McDonald's has opened its doors in Solbacken. A month ago, the restaurant was full of construction workers. But everything was clean and ready for today's opening. Smartly-dressed people walk around the new restaurant. One of them is franchisee Erik Edin, who runs the restaurant.
– It's always a bit nerve-wracking when you're about to open. But I'm very happy with how everything turned out, he says.

Kina Berglund is a supervisor, and she has been with the company for a year and a half. She's excited about the opening.
