Fastighetsbyrån, a real estate agency, has compiled the final prices per square meter when apartments were sold. They have compared the prices from November 2021 to October 2023 with a corresponding two-year period from 2019 to 2021.
Only streets with at least five sales were included.
When similar statistics were compiled last year, several streets in Skelleftehamn had the largest percentage increase, which was due to the fact that they did not have the same demand before Northvolt was established, and so the prices had further to rise in comparison to Skellefteå town.
Now, in a new round of statistics, Skelleftehamn still ranks high, although prices have not increased as much this time.
Here is the list of the top ten in Västerbotten in terms of percentage increase:
1. Umevägen, Vännäs. 54 percent.
2. Skelleftehamnvägen, Ursviken. 51 percent.
3. Sjömansgatan, Skelleftehamn. 46 percent.
4. Vintergatan, Skelleftehamn. 45 percent.
5. Bogatan, Skelleftehamn. 39 percent.
6. Hemgårdsgatan, Kåge. 35 percent.
7. Frögatan, Skellefteå. 35 percent.
8. Sofiehemsvägen, Umeå, 31 percent.
9. Ersbodavägen, Umeå, 31 percent.
10. Holmgatan, Skellefteå. 27 percent.
That Skelleftehamn continues to perform well does not surprise Jan-Erik Lööf of Fastighetsbyrån in Skellefteå.
– When prices in the city have risen significantly, more people choose to look at the surrounding municipalities, where prices are still reasonable, he says.
The statistics are only for condominiums.
