Sweden Democrats' troll accounts share American Nazi content

The far-right party, Sweden Democrats, have used anonymous accounts to spread white power messages, according to the anti-racism media group, Expo, which has investigated the content of these accounts.

Expo reports the party has been spreading messages from several accounts associated with the white power movement.

Among other things, one account posted content featuring American Nazi, Nick Fuentes.

Fuentes has called for a “holy war” against Jews and compared the six million Jews killed by the Nazis to cookies baking in an oven. He advocates for the U.S. government to be under authoritarian, "Catholic Taliban rule," and has expressed his disdain for women, Muslims, the LGBTQ+ community, and others.

Other accounts allegedly controlled by the Sweden Democrats have promoted eco-fascism that advocates for the "survival of the white race" and the right to "natural habitats." Expo also notes that tributes to Theodore "Ted" Kaczynski, known as the "Unabomber," have appeared.

In response to Expo, the Sweden Democrats said that posts related to the white power movement were removed because they were "flagged by TikTok" and attributed the posts to a "junior employee" who did not understand the content he was sharing.

The party did not respond to Expo's questions about the posts about eco-fascism or the Unabomber tribute.

This revelation is especially embarrassing for SD party leader Jimmie Åkesson, as he's been campaigning this week ahead of the EU elections in June.
