It's a packed schedule for Cimberly as she prepares for her first live Friday final.

How's the atmosphere?

– Absolutely WONDERFUL, writes a delighted Cimberly in capital letters.

Cimberly Wanyonyi is enrolled at Anderstorp Music School.

What are your days like at the moment?

– The days are a mix of rehearsals, vocal coaching and styling advice. There's a lot to think about before a live show. But everyone is really excited and has chosen such great songs. Of course, there are also a lot of butterflies.

On Friday there will be two people from Skellefteå on stage, both Cimberly and conductor Johan Ivansson are from Skellefteå.

– It's so funny that we're both from the same town. I went to see him a few weeks ago at Sara kulturhus when he was playing with some of my old teachers. And now I'm here working with him, and he's such an amazing musician..

Have you had a chance to talk to each other?

– Yes, during a coffee break. The funny thing is that we have a lot of teachers in common because we both attended the music program at Anderstorp. That's pretty cool. Because these are the teachers who trained and prepared us for the stage.

How do you prepare for Friday's final?

– I sing. The song "Feeling Good" is one of my absolute favorites. A classic, really. I might not warm up with it, but sometimes when I just want to be free and sing in my room, I love that song. You don't have to think about anything else and you just get into the music.

For Friday's final you chose a real disco hit. Why did you choose "I Will Survive"?

– It's such a great song. Catchy and full of energy. "I Will Survive," says Cimberly and laughs.
