Throughout Sweden Live's more than ten-year history, Sweden's leading tour companies, artist agencies, partners and music organizers have gathered annually to discuss industry trends and future prospects. Over the years, the conference has become a very popular event within the Swedish music industry, especially as artists' income has become increasingly dependent on playing live and touring.
– We've been fighting for many years to bring Sweden Live to Skellefteå - and now it's finally going to happen. It's a prestigious event with strong competition to host it between cities. With the long-term efforts of Skellefteå municipality and Visit Skellefteå, together with a cultural center that has delivered from the beginning, we have finally achieved our goal. So far, Sweden Live has visited cities such as Helsingborg (2011), Stockholm (2012), Uppsala (2013), Karlstad (2014), Örebro (2015), Malmö (2016), Linköping (2017), Norrköping (2018), Luleå (2019), Västerås (2020), and Helsingborg/Helsingør (2023).
Skellefteå is hosting Sweden Live 2024.
