Skellefteå AIK faced a tough challenge on Saturday afternoon when they visited Örebro in Närke. Despite AIK's strong start, the game remained competitive throughout.

The first period saw Skellefteå take an early lead. Marcus Eriksson's leg deflected Axel Sandin-Pellikka's shot, giving AIK a 1-0 advantage. Örebro intensified their efforts in the second period, but were unable to capitalize on their opportunities.

The third period proved to be decisive. Örebro tied the game, but Skellefteå responded quickly. First, Pontus Johansson scored a goal that bounced over Jonas Arntzen's shoulder, putting AIK back in front, and then a subsequent five-on-three power play allowed Skellefteå to extend their lead to 3-1.

Örebro mounted a late comeback, narrowing the gap to one goal. However, with seconds left in the game, Rickard Hugg intercepted a pass and scored into an empty net to seal a 4-2 victory for Skellefteå AIK.
