Arvid Lundberg's injury status remains uncertain following his injury in training last week. Måns Forsfjäll is already out for an extended period. Axel Sandin-Pellikka and Frans Haara have also struggled with injuries during the preseason.

With one defensive spot already vacant, AIK's sports management has been open to additional acquisitions. Fredrik Granberg was recently loaned from Piteå to fill a gap.

As the SHL opener against Malmö approaches, AIK faces significant uncertainty. It's unclear if they will make any further signings before Saturday.

Skellefteå AIK's general manager, Forssell, says they're actively seeking the right defensive reinforcements. He doesn't rule out the possibility of acquiring more than one player.

– We’re keeping our eyes open. It’s important that we get the right players, says Forssell, who does not rule out the possibility of bringing in more than one defenseman.
