AIK lose at home again, as Leksand cruise to 4-1 win

Skellefteå AIK continued their topsy-turvy start to the season with a sloppy 4-1 home defeat to Leksand, in which they were mostly dominant but were unable to convert possession into goals.

Leksand took the lead after eight minutes of play, through Oskar Lang played by in by Olle Alsing and Felix Unger Sörum. Leksand made it 0-2 through Peter Cehlarik after 2.05 in the second period.

After 14.37 of the period, Anton Heikkinen reduced the deficit to 1-2 for Skellefteå. In the third period, Leksand scored the third after 3.39 through Anton Lindholm. And with only 2.20 left, Marek Hrivik made it 1-4.

Skellefteå is now in third place in the SHL with Leksand in eleventh place.

Skellefteå takes on HV71 in the next away match next Thursday, November 2.
