Skellefteå responded well to a terrible start at home to Leksand on Tuesday night, winning 2-1, their fourth victory in the last five games. The first period was an even contest, despite Leksand taking an early lead through Justin Glenn Kloos after only 14 seconds, but Skellefteå's Max Lindholm quickly equalized.
Pär Lindholm then gave Skellefteå a lead, which they held until the end. The win was Skellefteå's eleventh odd-goal win of the season, and they are now third in the league, while Leksand are sixth.
Leksand take early lead, but Skellefteå finally prevail
AIK recovered from a nightmare start to beat Leksand and move to third in the SHL table, with goals from the Lindholms.
