Two women were found deceased in a residence in Luleå municipality on Tuesday. Their identities have not been completely confirmed, but according to the police, all indications suggest that they are two women in their 50s who are related to each other. "They have no close relatives," the police writes.
The police also states that the women are believed to have been dead for an extended period of time.
As the cause of death is unclear, a preliminary investigation concerning involuntary manslaughter has been initiated.
Technicians have examined the residence in question, and forensic examinations are to be conducted. "Until the results from the forensic examinations are available, there is no further information to provide," the police states.
There are no suspects in the case.
