Ann-Kristin Hedmark celebrates 60 years in jazz.

The first-ever Skellefteå Jazz Festival is hosted by Ann Kristin Hedmark, who returns to her home town together with the band Mr Blues (at Nordanå on Sunday evening at 19:00). Ann Kristin's visit is extra exciting as she is celebrating 60 years as an artist. Otherwise, the weekend offers, among other things, big band jazz with the newly-formed Station Street Big Band (on the stairs in Sara on Friday night at 17:00), a jazz café with Holmström/Bergner/Jonsson (on the stairs in Sara, at Saturday lunchtime at 13:00), young talents from the Kulturskolan and pop up bands that appear in various places in the city center.
