The 32-year-old who played for Malmö in Division 1 ice hockey during the 2019-2020 season has now been hired as an assistant coach for the Seattle Kraken.

Campbell has worked as an assistant coach for the AHL team Coachella Valley Firebirds during the previous two seasons, a team which belongs to the same organization as Seattle.

During the Men's World Cup 2022 in Finland, she was an assistant coach for Germany.

Two years ago, the Washington Capitals hired a female video coach, Emily Engel-Natzke. That was the first time an NHL team hired a woman for an assistant coach role.
