Pia Aaltonen-Forsell, Carl-Erik Lagercrantz and Susanna Campbell are leaving Northvolt’s board at their own request.
The matter is said to have been submitted to Bolagsverket recently. The resignations of Susanna Campbell and Carl-Erik Lagercrantz have reportedly been registered.
According to Affärsvärlden, which has reviewed the documents sent to Bolagsverket, chair Tom Johnstone, newly appointed CEO Pia Aaltonen-Forsell and several other board members have also stepped down.
Lawyer Johan Pellegrini, who has experience as a bankruptcy trustee, tells Affärsvärlden that boards can resign during bankruptcies.
– The board’s obligations to the bankruptcy trustee don’t just disappear because they resign, he tells the magazine.
Northvolt founder and former CEO Peter Carlsson left the board in December last year. Shortly after, co-founder Paulo Cerruti also stepped down.
