AIK fight back from 0-2 to thrash Luleå

Despite a disastrous start at Coop Norrbotten Arena, Skellefteå AIK rallied to hammer Luleå in the season's first derby.

Brendan Shinnimin opened the scoring for Luleå just 49 seconds into the game, and Pontus Själin extended their lead. However, Oskar Vuollet's impressive backhand goal on a power play brought AIK back into the game.

In the second period, AIK's performance improved dramatically. Max Lindholm scored a goal to tie the game, and Vuollet netted his second goal to give AIK the lead.

Luleå pressed for an equalizer in the third period, but Vuollet completed a hat trick with another goal assisted by Pudas. A well-timed clearance by Lindholm sealed AIK's victory with a final score of 5-2.
