The retail chain announced on Friday that the knob on the pacifier can crack under strong impact.
"The product did not pass one of the mechanical subtests included in the standard EN-1400:2013+A2:2018", they state on their website.
The pacifier (with item number 3610605/71219) has been sold in grocery stores and online between April 1, 2021, and July 4, 2024.
ÖoB writes on their website: "Immediately stop using the product. Return the product to the point of sale, or send it back to Esska. A full refund for the product applies. No receipt is required."
According to ÖoB, there have been no reports of incidents or injuries.
