"There are just not enough words"

At Thursday's press conference in Arvidsjaur, the family of the deceased soldier sent a message via chief of staff Morgan Gustafsson. "There are not enough words. It is heartbreaking," the family writes.

Morgan Gustafsson, chief of staff and lieutenant colonel at regiment K4 in Arvidsjaur, held the press conference on Thursday. After he explained how the accident happened, he read a message from the deceased soldier's relatives. He read verbatim from the family's message.

"There are no words. It is heartbreaking. We are thinking of our son, brother and everyone who had the honor of knowing him. There is no one like him. He lived an intense life and had so many adventures. He was an incredibly warm-hearted, understanding and committed person. Thank you for all the support and to everyone who did everything to save our son. Thank you for helping us keep his memory alive. Take care of one another."
